SUMMARY:Millbrook Restoration Tour - an Open Yard event
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a walking tour along Brown’s Creek to see the restoration work that is underway since 2021 in collaboration with Millbrook Home Owners Association and the city of Stillwater.  Woody invasive species have been initially removed in 2021 and 2022\, but need ongoing maintenance to sustain long-term.  Native vegetation provides deep roots to filter stormwater\, holds sediment from getting into the trout stream\, provides shade and wildlife habitat. \nThis is a project still in progress. Come learn how you can apply these steps to your own property\, or just enjoy a beautiful night along Brown’s Creek with some local plant and bird experts.
