Watershed Boundaries
The Brown’s Creek Watershed District covers portions of seven municipalities in Washington County: the City of Stillwater, City of Oak Park Heights, City of Lake Elmo, City of Grant, City of Hugo, May Township, and Stillwater Township.
The following image shows the legal and hydrologic boundaries of the District. The hydrologic boundary delineates areas that would ultimately drain to Brown’s Creek. The legal boundary defines the actual legal area of jurisdiction of the District; it corresponds as closely as possible to the hydrologic boundary while following established property lines.
