Education and Outreach

East Metro Water Resource Education Program (EMWREP)

The BCWD has been a partner in the East Metro Water Resource Education Program (EMWREP), a shared educator program, since its inception in 2006. EMWREP is a partnership of 30 local units of government, hosted by the Washinton Conservation District, with the goal to educate community residents, businesses, staff, and decision-makers about issues affecting local lakes, rivers, streams, wetlands and groundwater resources and to engage people in projects to protect and improve the health of these water resources.

BCWD-Specific Education and Outreach

The BCWD also implements its own education through BCWD events, tabling at local partner events, creating and sharing BCWD-specific educational materials, and giving presentations to community groups and organizations. Many BCWD and partner resources are available under the "Learn" section of the website. Some BCWD-specific materials are available below.

Contact us if your organization is interested in printed materials or a presentation.
